so i've been looking for an action manga from quite some time now and i've come here on baka-updates as my last resort. it doesn't have to be so so underrated, i just want some non-mainstream mangas to read as i explore the action genre.

i have no specific requirements or wants. i don't mind if it's long, or too short, mixed genre, and any demographics will do too: shounen, seinen, josei, shoujo, and all. (as long that it has action) i don't also mind if it's psychological or can be triggering lol.

oh and plus points if it's not harem, reverse harem. i'd like ecchi too (like Ayakashi Triangle) but i'd prefer those that does not show excessive panty shots, or something like that. i hope you understand my point, thank you so much!

i forgot, i'm okay with sci-fis or adventure too. i really want to discover some nice mangas like Alma which is not widely known but has a great art and interesting plot.

edited: on going, or completed, it doesn't matter hehe.

It sounds like instead of underrated you instead look for lesser known/more obscure titles?
For example, Bonnouji is an extremely well received romance manga but you'll never see it recommended outside of specific forums.

I'd suggest Yumekui Merry as it was just completed a week ago. Don't mind the initial art style / comedy, the author had over qa decade to refine it

i had trouble finding words to describe it but yep, it's just like as you've said, i'm looking for mangas that r not that well-known. thank you for the recom i'll try that one out!

Assassin's Pride :fantastic story as long as you ignore the ecchi. (Ecchi is nasty cuz it involves underage girls but the story is good so I hope you overlook it)
