this manga is sophisticated, romantic to the appropriate extend, funny, balanced, smart, interesting, and so much more...the relationships are very well-developed...the characters were explored in each of their own way, so that in the end, you can't help but love them all (even the bastardly antagonist)....it's mellow, strong, sad, joyous, and completed on so many levels.....this is one of those... 485m4r

nice, light, airy in the first couple of volumes...and should've stayed that way...

however, once past volume 6, the story turned into a direction that strongly reminisced me of angel sanctuary, rg veda, & seimaden together....i read the raws, so i had no idea what they were talking about, but i was able to get the gist of the story through the pictures....the ending was ok....i expected better...

lol...this manga is highly amusing and witty in my opinion...in fact, i've reread this for 5 times or more already. however, i have to agree that the ending was horrible...it has a very weak and stupid conclusion, which didn't explain much about what's going to happen to the main characters.....nonetheless, if you're looking for a cute and funny manga for some pastime reading, you should try this...

this is one of my top 5 manga list, probably at 2nd or 3rd place....great comedy, hilarious and unpredictable jokes, not too corny romance, and wonderfully sharp and decisive art. sometimes you'd have to wonder how the characters' eyes appear so sharp like razor blades....it's an action-packed comedy that will satisfy any doubtful critics, and it's also one of the few manga that i can still laugh...

this is a HILARIOUS and HIGHLY INTERESTING manga....the art isn't bad, the story is nicely progressed and wasn't draggy at all, and the sense of humor is fantastic....totally recommended if you wanna laugh your ass off from witnessing the "reactions" of the judges there ^^

this is a super awesome manga...cat chan scan always produces such meaningful manga....unlike most shoujo manga, and with an inspiring story...the art is pretty cool, too, and the romance between the 2 characters wasn't corny at all....A+++

it's ok i guess....the art isn't really unique or beautiful, and if you've watched the anime like i did, you'll probably be pretty disappointed at the art, but i think that the plot would be a refreshing change from the anime and all the fanfic i've read about this wonderful story ^^

i dont really care about the manga, but the anime ROCKS!!!!....check it out on youtube and i'm sure you'll love it!....less focus on relationships, but then, you just have to get tired of all those shoujo stuff after a while eh....the anime is more focus on the band, but the songs, the story, and everything else (including the art) is much much much livelier and better!!!! i love the anime 😀 !...

weird......the ending was twisted in my opinion....why kill off everyone important? >_> ....even though it was listed under shounen, it seems more off a slight shounen-ai & shoutacon without the sex for me.....beautiful art and a pretty good theme, but i think it would've suit the story more for ashura to be a female T_T

i just completely fell in love with this story...the plot and the art and everything in between...i hardly have to yell out my frustration of the 2 main characters' romance, like i usually do in normal shoujo manga, because each series of events just wound and bound together to well and meaningful that i don't have anything to complain about...100% recommended!

awesomeness......it's sucks that the translating group dropped this fantastic project...hope some other group will pick up where they left off T_T

not really the best HMR manga i've ever read....the story leaned more to the political side as it develop, and the ending didn't give you the sense of satisfaction or accomplishment, because it didn't explain anything much....

i think the art gets boring after a while, and the story contains some pretty well known cliche in shoujo manga....hooked me up to chapter 30 only...it's just not quite my taste...
